Fits 2017+ Arctic Cat and 2018+ Yamaha 153" & 162" twin rail suspensions.
These lightweight suspensions can work very well in high performance applications but there is a weak spot just in front of the rear axle. Should the top of the rail in this area start to bend outward, there is little to no support to keep the rear section of the rail from bending upwards at the rear axle.
The forces that stress this point on the rails are hard landings on the rear axle, wheelies, high horsepower/high traction situations, oversize wheels and offset axles.
This kit locks in to the openings in the rail. It sandwiches the weak spot with a 6061 aluminum brace on each side to strengthen it. It also provides additional support to prevent the upward folding of the rear section of the rail. The brace is fastened with the included zinc plated grade 8 hardware and only requires two 1/4" holes to be drilled, one in each rail for the front bolt of the brace. Installation time is approximately 20 minutes.
