A true cold air out-of-hood intake. Breathes 100% outside air, unlike the most common intakes that draw air from under the hood.
- Forward facing so it’s higher performing at speed than upward facing out of hood intakes.
- Does not block under hood air flow by blocking left side inlet like other ram air intakes. This means cooler under hood temperatures and cooler clutches for improved overall performance.
- More engine protection than some other forward facing intakes. Prevent dirty air damage to your expensive engine and turbo. Uses the factory airbox and filter, with pre-filter material at the inlet. Very versatile in that it can be used for race or trail.
- Computer designed to maximize air flow.
- Inlet pre-filter can be removed. Ideal when cleaning, replacing, or for maximum flow when racing. Replacement inlet pre-filters available separately.
- It's less hassle than other out of hood intakes in that it does not need to be removed when removing hood/body panels from the sled. The Max-RAM stays attached to the hood panel with the inner plenum feeding directly into the top of the factory airbox (which does not need to be removed either, including during installation.)
