Those that are familiar with the rubber coupler at the 998 turbo, have seen them tear, causing run ability issues and a loss of HP.
This is the permanent solution that not only replaces the bad coupler but also increases the HP by creating a less turbulent air flow entering the turbo. We have found a 10 HP gain with a moderate tune. The higher the boost, the bigger the gain. Because it’s fixing the air flow as it enters the turbo, no modifying the present tune will be required.
Please note: this part is for use on sleds with a deleted or rerouted roll over valve. The stock routing of the roll over valve on 2017-2019 models uses a hose from the valve to a fitting on the intake tube. The hose fitting on the intake tube gets eliminated with this performance upgrade. Most 2020 and newer models have the hose run to a different location and the intake tube fitting is plugged so there is no issue.
